Lil Wayne Drops "Tunechi‘s Back" Off Sorry For the Wait Mixtape

Lil Wayne will release his Sorry For the Wait mixtape this week, releasing the first leak off the tape, “Tunechi’s Back,” last weekend…

Lil Wayne recently announced the July 13 release of his mixtape, Sorry For the Wait. But before it hits the interweb, Weezy has leaked the first track off the LP, “Tunechi’s Back,” which samples the popular Meek Mill and Rick Ross track, “Tupac Back.”

“Out on bail, work on a scale / Put some change on your head, Boy, you on sale / Yeah I’ll see you in hell / Pop-pop get well / Make breakfast ’cause I got you walking on egg shells,” young Tuna Fish raps on the track. “Swear to god I’d never shoot unless I’m shooting to kill / Instead of writing raps you should be writing your will.”

The mixtape comes just weeks before the oft-delayed The Carter IV album, which is now scheduled for an August 29 date.
