G-Unit Moves South; 50 Signs New Rapper Kidd Kidd
Just weeks after partnering with Shawty Lo, 50 Cent signs New Orleans rapper Kidd Kidd to G-Unit Records. Shawty says of his deal with 50 "I really signed with 50 because I feel like 50's a marketing genius. I've been watching him since he first came into the game before I even thought about becoming a rapper. But to make it short and simple, I signed a big deal with 50, $10 million deal."
Kidd Kidd has a lot of respect for 50, Kidd says "He's a real n*gga and I don't care what any n*gga's got to say about him. Anything anybody's got to say about 50 they might as well say it about me too. Real n*gga sh*t. He came to my album release party and this man called me. He called me himself. He didn't need nobody to call me and he came himself. He hit me up like, 'Yo, what's up Kidd? What's up with you?'"
G-Units latest artist was on Yayo's video shoot for "Haters" on Saturday. He tweeted "Good mornin video shoot today me @TonyYayo @50cent shawty lo its goin dwn big ups to all my haters."
