Rihanna & Drake Spotted at Adult Toy Store?

Rumors are circulating that Rihanna was spotted with former boo Drake in a porn shop in Ottawa, Canada. Several sources claims Rihanna was holding hands with Drake as they perused the offerings of the smut shop.

The rumors go on to say that Rihanna bought a pair of $1,000-plus handcuffs, a bustier, pasties, boots, edible underwear, a leash and collar, and a spandex hood.

If the stories are true, it would seem the two had a very fun night planned.

NFL: Dolphins trade for Reggie Bush

Nine years later, the Miami Dolphins have again traded for a New Orleans Saints running back who won the Heisman Trophy.

This time it’s Reggie Bush.

The Dolphins completed a trade for Bush on Thursday by negotiating a new contract with him. Saints coach Sean Payton confirmed the deal, which sends reserve safety Jonathon Amaya to New Orleans and also involves an exchange of undisclosed draft picks.

Miami acquired former Heisman winner Ricky Williams from the Saints in 2002, with mixed results. He won an NFL rushing title with the Dolphins, but they haven’t won a playoff game since that trade.

Bush agreed to a two-year contract for nearly $10 million with the Dolphins, a person familiar with the negotiations said. The person confirmed the agreement to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the Dolphins hadn’t announced the deal.

Bush was due about $11.8 million this season, the final year of his contract with the Saints, who face salary-cap constraints.

“It would have been hard for us to keep him at that number,” Payton said.

Trade talks with Miami began late Wednesday. Bush’s agent, Joel Segal, worked with Dolphins general manager Jeff Ireland until after 2 a.m. Thursday on the terms of a new contract.

Later in the morning Bush agreed to the deal and was en route to Miami. The Dolphins begin practicing Friday, but because Bush signed a new contract, the NFL’s post-lockout calendar requires he wait until Aug. 4 to join practice.

“Change is never easy but I look forward to building something special in Miami and can’t wait to embark on this new journey!” Bush said while sending a series of tweets. “To the city of New Orleans you will always have a place in my heart. … I love you guys you are my family & I will never forget our good times. … I wish the New Orleans Saints the best of luck I will always be a fan! The team, coaches, and fans will be deeply missed!”

Miami sought a running back to pair with second-round draft choice Daniel Thomas. Last year’s leading rushers, Williams and Ronnie Brown, are free agents.

The Dolphins remain in the market to acquire a quarterback to compete with Chad Henne for the starting job, and they’ve reportedly talked with the Denver Broncos about acquiring Kyle Orton.

The Saints hope Amaya can contribute as a punt returner. He signed with Miami as an undrafted rookie free agent last year and played in 10 games, all off the bench.

While the injury-plagued Bush has been paid handsomely since signing his six-year rookie contract worth up to $62 million, his pro career has never reached the heights he and many fans expected when he was selected second overall in the 2006 draft.

Bush has had his share of highlight-reel touchdowns on punt returns, receptions and runs, and he helped the Saints win the Super Bowl in February 2010—in Miami. But he has never been to a Pro Bowl or even rushed for as much as 600 yards in a season.

“When he was selected, it was going to be very difficult for him ever to maybe live up to some people’s expectations,” Payton said. “I do know this, though—around the league, he’s a player that’s dangerous and feared and well-respected.”

Last season he missed eight games, and during the other eight games was used as a role player, with only 36 carries for 150 yards and just 34 receptions for 208 yards. Knee and leg injuries forced Bush to miss playing time each of the past four seasons—a total of 20 games.

But the speedy Bush gives the Dolphins big-play potential they’ve lacked. Last season Miami ranked third-worst in the NFL last year in scoring, rushing touchdowns, yards per carry and rushes of 10 yards or more.

The Heisman Trust no longer recognizes Bush as the winner of its award. Bush relinquished his title to it in 2010 after an NCAA investigation concluded the former Southern California star and his family accepted improper benefits from would-be sports agents while Bush was still playing for USC.

The same probe led the Bowl Championship Series to vacate the Trojans’ 2004 BCS national title.

“I don’t know if there has been a guy more under the microscope than Reggie around this league for a lot of reasons for the last five years,” Saints quarterback Drew Brees said. “At times he has handled it very well, and I think at times it was pretty overwhelming for him. … When I look at the five years with him, man, we had some great times.”

Soon after the Saints made a trade for a second first-round pick in April’s NFL draft to take Alabama Heisman winner Mark Ingram, Bush wrote: “It’s been fun New Orleans,” on his Twitter site. Bush later said he regretted that comment and hoped to find a way to stay with New Orleans.

Payton had consistently said there remained a place in his wide-open offense for Bush. But after a salary cap of around $120 million was included in Monday’s labor agreement that ended the lockout, it became apparent New Orleans would have trouble paying Bush what he wanted while addressing other needs.

Before the lockout, the Saints re-signed running back Pierre Thomas to a four-year, $12 million extension. New Orleans also is high on Chris Ivory, who made the squad as an undrafted rookie last season. He filled in while both Bush and Thomas were hurt, and wound up leading the club in yards rushing with 716 yards and TDs rushing with five. It all made for a crowded backfield.

In his five-year pro career, Bush has rushed 524 times for 2,090 yards—an average of 4.0 yards per carry—and 17 touchdowns. He also has 294 receptions for 2,142 yards and 12 TDs. He also has four career TDs on punt returns.

NFL: Patriots acquire Ochocinco and Haynesworth

Randy Moss and Corey Dillon were malcontents when they joined the New England Patriots. Rodney Harrison arrived with a reputation as a dirty, washed-up player.

All of them fit in very well with their new team.

Now Albert Haynesworth and Chad Ochocinco are coming and “The Patriot Way” will be tested once again.

After a season-long feud with Washington coach Mike Shanahan, the 335-pound Haynesworth was traded to the Patriots on Thursday for a fifth-round draft choice in 2013. Haynesworth will team with Vince Wilfork to give New England a formidable defensive line.

Later Thursday, the Patriots obtained Ochocinco from Cincinnati and gave the wide receiver a new three-year contract. It was not known what the Bengals received.

Each transaction was confirmed by a person familiar with the deals who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because none of the teams had announced the moves.

The outspoken Ochocinco and reticent Patriots coach Bill Belichick have opposite public images. But they have developed a friendship, in part from interacting at Pro Bowl practices.

“I like Chad,” Belichick said before last year’s season opener between the teams. “An odd couple, but in the end I think we have a lot of things in common.”

Ochocinco returned the compliment: “He became a friend of mine. He has a lot of respect for me in my game and I have a lot of respect for him in everything he’s done as a coach.”

Two defensive linemen who could be starting alongside Haynesworth in the 3-4 defense—the alignment that helped fuel Haynesworth’s discontent with Shanahan — think he’ll be adjust to the players’ unselfish approach.

“You can see that Albert wasn’t really happy in his situation,” end Ty Warren said Thursday after the Patriots’ first practice of training camp, but “all you see is what goes on (from) the outside and sometimes that’s only half of the truth. So I don’t think it’s going to be a problem, with the structure of this locker room, the guys that’s in this locker room.”

Wilfork, primarily a nose tackle, saw the most action at defensive end of his seven-year career last season. Playing next to Haynesworth, the 325-pounder could spend even more time on the outside.

“It’s always team first. That’s the Patriot Way. If you can’t put the team first you won’t be here,” said Wilfork, a three-time Pro Bowler.

Any new Patriots player with a checkered past, on or off the field, “will see how we do things around here, point blank,” he added. “We had guys come through here with a rap sheet and (people) say, `he can’t be handled. This guy can’t do this,’ and you know what, it worked out fine for us. So I don’t think it will be a big problem.”

Moss, eager to leave the Oakland Raiders, didn’t go all out in 2006 and was traded to the Patriots for the 2007 season. He caught 98 passes, including an NFL-record 23 touchdown receptions, that year and didn’t cause trouble until last season, when he was traded.

Dillon, who complained about being stuck with a consistently bad Bengals team, was acquired in March 2004 for a second-round pick and was a major contributor that year to the Patriots’ championship. He rushed for a team-record 1,635 yards and ran for 75 yards and a touchdown in a 24-21 Super Bowl win over the Philadelphia Eagles.

And Harrison became a hard-hitting leader, showing he was far from finished.

“Every case is different,” Warren said. “All the guys that I’ve seen make that transition, from the Rodneys, just right on down the line. Everybody’s had a smooth transition.”

Last year Haynesworth missed offseason workouts because he wanted a trade to avoid playing in Shanahan’s 3-4 defense. He didn’t practice until he passed the conditioning test on the 10th day of training camp. Then he was suspended for the final four games of the season for “conduct detrimental to the club.”

He’s also had several legal troubles. He is scheduled for trial on Aug. 23 on a misdemeanor sexual abuse charge, stemming from an accusation that he fondled a waitress at a hotel bar in Washington. He has pleaded not guilty.

“When we get on this field, regardless of what people say about you, it’s `Can you perform?”’ Wilfork said. “It’s `Can you put it together?’”

Haynesworth has talent. He had 8 1-2 sacks in 2008, his last season with Tennessee, which selected him with the 15th draft pick in 2002.

With Haynesworth and Wilfork on the field at the same time, teams might have to assign four blockers to them. That would be a big advantage for the Patriots’ pass rush, which was mediocre last season. So what would it mean to play with him?

“It’s huge. He’s got some freakish ability,” Warren said. “I’ve seen him on film and he’s the real deal.”

NFL clubs approve comprehensive agreement

NFL clubs approved today the terms of a comprehensive settlement of litigation and a new 10-year collective bargaining agreement with the NFL Players Association.

The vote was taken at a league meeting in Atlanta where the clubs were briefed on the terms of the agreement and the rules for the transition into the new League Year. The agreement must be ratified by the NFL Players Association in order for the league year to begin.

“We are pleased to announce that our clubs have approved the terms of a long-term negotiated agreement with the NFL players,” said NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. “It includes many positive changes that emerged from a spirit of compromise rooted in doing what is best for the game and players. DeMaurice Smith and his team, and the players and owners involved in the negotiations, deserve great credit for their skill and professionalism. If approved by the players, this agreement will allow the league and its players to continue to benefit from the NFL’s popularity and will afford a unique opportunity to deliver to fans an even better, safer, and more competitive game in the future.

“On behalf of the NFL, our teams and players, I want to express our deep appreciation to Chief Magistrate Judge Arthur Boylan. Judge Boylan was the court-appointed mediator, but his contributions far exceeded that role. His patience, determination, and commitment helped keep everyone focused on the goal, and helped lead us to today’s announcement.”

The NFL announced that players can begin voluntary workouts at club facilities on July 23 if the NFLPA Executive Board approves the settlement terms. Following the reconstitution of the NFLPA as a union and approval of the new CBA by the NFLPA membership, the League Year and free agency signings will start at 2:00 PM ET on July 27 and training camps for all teams will open on July 27.

Day one activities will be limited to physicals, meetings, and conditioning. Players will practice without pads on days two and three.

As part of the transition rules for the 2011 League Year, the parties have agreed that the CBA’s specified deadlines for certain free agency contract tenders will be delayed to the dates indicated below. For example, the deadline for the CBA’s “June 1 Tender” to Unrestricted Free Agents will be changed from June 1 to August 12.

  • In 2012, each club may “borrow” up to $1.5 million in cap room from a future year. Both these amounts would be repaid in future years.
OTHER:
  • No judicial oversight of the agreement. Neutral arbitrators jointly appointed by the NFL and NFLPA will resolve disputes as appropriate.
  • Settlement of all pending litigation.

Kanye West Sends Subliminal To Wiz Khalifa In Deleted Tweet?

A rumored beef between Wiz Khalifa and Kanye West, over the Chicago rap star's ex (Amber Rose), seems to be a constant topic on gossip blogs ... and it continued this week with a subliminal shot from Ye.

This week, West allegedly sent a tweet out, aimed squarely at Wiz and Amber ... and it was blistering.

"When he's eating her p****, he's tasting the whole of Hip-Hop. #SuckerForLove," the Chicago rapper wrote sometime Wednesday (@KanyeWest), but it mysteriously disappeared shortly after.

However, Bossip.com caught a screenshot of it as proof.

West has been pretty inactive on the social network over the last several months ... but after seeing clips of Wiz licking Amber Rose up-n-down all over the net (see below), filmed during some recent performances, he apparently felt compelled to say something.

Their rumored beef has been brewing for quite some time now, and this wasn't the first time West has sent some subtle shots. During his performance of "Stronger" at the Coachella Festival last April, he took a swipe at Rose by changing a few words to the song.

The original lyrics of the song includes a line which says: "I'd do anything for a blonde dyke. And she'll do anything if the time's right."

Yet, with Rose and Wiz rumored to be watching the show, West altered the line to: "Well, I did anything for a blonde dyke, and she'll do anything for the limelight / and we did anything when the time's right, uh, baby you making it ... harder, better, faster, stronger."

The two reportedly had a confrontation backstage, although Wiz later denied reports, and even said he and Rose had already left the concert before West went on.

Whether Kanye tweeted the words or not, it's still pretty funny.

Daughter cries out “I LOVE YOU” as her Mother STABS HER 10 TIMES!

A nursery worker plunged a large knife into her 11-year-old daughter and stabbed her repeatedly as the little girl cried ‘I love you,’ the Old Bailey has heard.

Mid-way through the attack she paused to hug the child who was begging her mother to stop. But she then resumed the vicious onslaught, stabbing her daughter ten times at the side of a canal.

The Old Bailey heard how a nursery worker plunged a large knife into her 11-year-old daughter and stabbed her repeatedly as the little girl cried ‘I love you’

After the youngster collapsed in St Margaret’s Field, Ealing, west London, the 48-year-old woman turned the knife on herself, causing blade wounds to her stomach.

Both survived the ordeal but the girl – who received multiple cut wounds to her hands and arms – has been left with long-lasting injuries and scarring.

She was saved by a ten-hour operation to repair wounds to her abdominal organs.

The woman, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, pleaded guilty to attempted murder in August last year, and was detained under the Mental Health Act without limit of time.

The court heard she had been a loving mother until a few months before the attack, when she became gripped by severe depression.

Bobbie Cheema, prosecuting, said the couple were spotted after the girl picked up the knife and tried to stagger away with her mother attempting to catch her.

Miss Cheema said the mother had bought the sharp knife two weeks before and produced it after the couple set off for the shops.

She had intended to kill herself and decided her daughter ‘would be better off dead’ than being left without her.

Miss Cheema said: ‘The child kept telling her mother she loved her, even though she was being assaulted.’

At one point, she tried to get the knife but it fell to the ground.

‘The mother asked her daughter for a hug but began to stab her again.’

The nursery worker had a ‘perfectly normal’ life until the beginning of the year but by Easter was referred to her local community mental health team.

She was prescribed medication but had not been taking it for two weeks before the attack.

The day before, she had been told that her care would be transferred back to her GP.

Miss Cheema said: ‘She appeared anxious about this. She expressed suicidal ideas and told her husband she was having bad thoughts.’

There had been a strong bond between mother and daughter and social workers were helping her come to terms with what had happened.

‘She loves her mother and wants to see her but is not sure if it is the right thing,’ added Miss Cheema.
David Hislop, QC, defending, said: ‘She was an exceptionally good mother and wife.

‘She was the very foundation and heart of her family. She did nothing to bring on this mental disorder which has wrecked her life.’

Judge Stephen Kramer said: ‘This is a tragic case for everyone involved.’

Tribute: Gang Starr – Take It Personal

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GURU

Report: Mavericks to host Heat on Christmas Day if NBA lockout ends

The NBA liked this season's Finals series so much, it wants to give it back to its fans as a Christmas gift, according to a report by the Miami Herald . A rematch of the NBA Finals between the Dallas Mavericks and Miami Heat would be played in Dallas on Christmas Day if the league lockout doesn't interfere with the 2011-2012 schedule.

The Mavericks defeated the Heat in six games this June to win its first NBA title. The Heat defeated the Mavericks in six games in 2006 to win its first NBA title.

The report indicates that Dallas would host the holiday rematch that Sunday in American Airlines Center in the afternoon as one of its matchups on its annual showcase day. That holiday weekend also includes a Cowboys home game against the Eagles on Christmas Eve.

The Heat is no stranger to traveling and playing on Christmas Day. The Heat beat the Lakers, 96-80, last season on Dec. 25th and played the Knicks on that day the season before.

The last time the Mavericks played on Christmas Day was in 2008, when they beat the Trail Blazers in Portland, 102-94.

Japan kicks USA aside at Women's World Cup

Japan claimed its first Women's World Cup title after beating the United States on penalty kicks Sunday.

The U.S. missed its first three penalty kicks, while goalkeeper Hope Solo could only save one goal. Japan won when it made its fourth attempt.

Team USA had dominated much of the final, outshooting Japan by a 29-12 margin and a 6-3 margin on goal. But two shots have gone off the post, another went over the crossbar and Japan's goalkeeper made a terrific save on a fourth.

Morgan's goal was a thing a beauty, though.

The Americans were seeking their first World Cup title since 1999. They also won in 1991.

The Nadeshiko had never beaten the Americans — draws in 2000, 2003 and 2004 are the best they've managed in 25 games — and have been outscored a whopping 77-13. They have three losses this year alone to the U.S., including a pair of 2-0 defeats in warmup games a month before the World Cup began. This also is Japan's first final at a major tournament, having lost to the U.S. in the semifinals at the Beijing Olympics.

Japan also has powerful motivation, knowing it has provided some emotional relief for a nation still reeling from the March 11 earthquake and tsunami. The team displays a banner reading "To our Friends Around the World — Thank You for Your Support," after every game, and coach Norio Sasaki inspired his players before the quarterfinal by showing them pictures of the devastation.

(Photos/Video) Where Will Casey Anthony Go?

In the early hours of Sunday morning, Casey Anthony left the Orange County Jail.

What happened to the disguise?  Her hair was pulled up in a tight bun and she had on a bright pink V-neck T-shirt, blue jeans and sneakers.  She did not show any emotion, as usual.

Anthony walked out of the front door of the Orange County Jail at 12:09 a.m. with her lawyer by her side and two Special Response Team officers with green vests and assault rifles. With $537.68 from her inmate account handed to her, Anthony offered a quick thanks to a Special Response Team sergeant.

She then walked out of the jail building doors and into a dark-colored sport utility vehicle. News helicopters that tracked the SUV showed it head to downtown Orlando and into the parking garage of her lawyer Cheney Mason's office.

She then boarded a private plane at the airport and landed in Ohio around 2 am.  Supposedly she will be living outside of Columbus.

LAWSUIT: Shaquille O’Neal Told Me To Kill People!

Shaquille O’Neal “requested and directed” his former friend to kill several people- those are the shocking allegations being made in a new lawsuit.  See what happens when you try to help someone out, they turn around and try to screw you!  Click below to see who these crazy allegations are coming from.

Shaq’s former pal Robert Ross  (an ex-gang member) is suing O’Neal for allegedly masterminding a plot to have him kidnapped by other gang members back in 2008.

In the documents, filed today in L.A. County Superior Court, Ross claims O’Neal organized and funded a series of murders and brutal attacks on people who did him wrong. Shaquille O’Neal “requested and directed” him to kill several people — including a gang member, a record producer, and a woman he impregnated.

In the suit, Ross alleges, “For many years O’Neal requested and directed [Ross] to perform many personal favors and directed him to perform various tasks including, but not limited to: ordering [Ross] to kill a member of the Downtown Gangster Crips who had disrespected O’Neal in front of his wife Shaunie.”

O’Neal is also accused of issuing “an order to kill a woman whom O’Neal had impregnated and paid for her abortion” and “an order to kill a renown record producer.” Ross also alleges that O’Neal issued “an order to break an NBA player’s shooting arm.” Ross, who never says whether the alleged hits were carried out, is suing for unspecified damages.

Shaq’s lawyer, Michael J. Kump, tells TMZ:

“The outlandish claims by Robert Ross in his civil complaint are pure fiction.  Shaquille O’Neal befriended Mr. Ross in an attempt to help turn his life around.  Sadly, Mr. Ross abused that friendship again and again.  Shaquille’s commitment to law enforcement is well-known and documented.  He will not dignify these defamatory allegations with a response.”

Casey Anthony is a Free Woman, Released From Jail Around 12:10 a.m.!!

Casey Marie Anthony walked out of the Orange County Jail in Florida a free woman early Sunday morning. Anthony’s release occurred exactly three years from the day that she made her first court appearance on multiple charges related to the disappearance of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee.

Anthony, dressed in a bright pink shirt, walked out of the jail booking center with her attorney, Jose Baez, at about 12:10 a.m. Escorted by an armed contingent of law enforcement officers, the two entered a dark SUV.

News helicopters briefly followed the SUV after it left the courthouse but it quickly slipped from public view. There is speculation the SUV headed for a local airport but Anthony’s destination is not yet known. According to jail officials, she had $537.68 on her when she was released.

Twelve days ago, a jury of seven women and five men — after hearing 33 days of testimony, 400 pieces of evidence and more than 90 witnesses — found Anthony not guilty of killing her daughter.

The case against Anthony was mostly circumstantial, but as it unfolded, she was portrayed in the trial as a promiscuous, self-centered woman who became a cold-blooded killer. The motive, prosecutors alleged, was to allow her to live a carefree life without her daughter.

The state’s theory was that a desperate Anthony used chloroform to subdue her daughter and then suffocated her with duct tape. Anthony then fabricated fantastic lies to cover up her deeds, the prosecutors said.

According to Baez, Casey Anthony and her father, George Anthony, were at home on June 16, 2008, when they noticed Caylee was missing. They began a frantic search, looking under beds and in the garage. Then George Anthony took the search outside to the above-ground pool, where they found a lifeless Caylee floating in the water, Baez said.

Caylee’s remains were found in a wooded area near the Anthony family home in December 2008. The discovery was made roughly five months after she was reported missing.

After one day of deliberations, the jury sided with the defense and found Anthony guilty of four lesser counts of lying to police officers about the disappearance of her child — lies which had launched one of the largest searches ever for a missing child.

The verdict ignited a cauldron of emotion in the courtroom and around the world. Angry protesters flocked to the courthouse steps, and dozens of death threats were made against Anthony and members of her family.

On July 7, Chief Judge Belvin Perry sentenced Anthony to four years for the misdemeanor counts, but he shortened her term because she already served more than 1,000 days since being charged with first-degree murder.

Anthony, 25, faced a possible death sentence if she had been convicted of first-degree murder. Her acquittal has ensured that she can never again be tried for her daughter’s murder because of the double jeopardy clause in the U.S. Constitution. Prosecutors are also prohibited from appealing her acquittal.

Two civil suits have been filed against Anthony. One was filed by a woman named Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez, who claims Anthony damaged her reputation when, in July 2008, she told police a woman with that name had kidnapped her daughter. The kidnapping was later proven to be a total fabrication, and Gonzalez is now seeking $15,000 in damages.

Texas EquuSearch, the missing person search and recovery group that searched for Caylee, is also seeking more than $100,000 in a lawsuit to recoup funds it spent on the search efforts.

Anthony still owes investigative and court costs and possibly fees for her murder defense.

According to her attorneys, Anthony is destitute. However, any debt she acquires as a result of her cases will likely be recouped by the money she can earn now that she has been acquitted. It’s no secret that Anthony stands to make a fortune from film and book rights, and the deals are already coming in.

Last week, an independent TV production company offered her $1 million for an interview.

Will Anthony attempt to cash in on her acquittal? No one knows yet. It also remains unclear where she will stay. Her parents, George and Cindy Anthony, have declined multiple requests for comment, but a source close to the family has told The Huffington Post they have made arrangements for her to stay with an aunt in Texas.

The death of Caylee is a mystery and likely will remain so for eternity. Her mother, however, has freedom.

Lil Wayne Explains Retirement Thoughts

Get More: MTV Shows

Lil Wayne opens up speaking about recent thoughts on when he should walk away from Rap. Here is what he had to say to MTV about the matter.

“I’m not sure; I’m not gonna Brett Favre y’all...I’m not gonna draw it all the way out the whole year: ‘We wondering, is Wayne gonna do this?’

But the honest answer is I don’t know. I’m so settled in my life right now. I have my kids; they’re wonderful. My daughter has her career ahead of her now. I have to focus on that, and I have to put the same focus that I put in my career. … I want to become a better father, I want to become a better man to my woman, and those things take time. and time takes away from this. So the honest answer to that [retirement] question is, I don’t know. Maybe so.”

NFL: Steelers’ James Harrison Rips Roger Goodell

Heavily fined Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison calls NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell a “crook” and a “devil,” among other insults, in a magazine article.

The 2008 AP Defensive Player of the Year hasn’t been shy about ripping the league after he was docked $100,000 for illegal hits last season. In the August issue of Men’s Journal, his rants against Goodell reach another level of wrath.

“If that man was on fire and I had to piss to put him out, I wouldn’t do it,” Harrison told the magazine. “I hate him and will never respect him.”

His other descriptions of the commissioner include an anti-gay slur, “stupid,” “puppet” and “dictator.”
If the Steelers had defeated the Green Bay Packers in the Super Bowl, Harrison said, he would have whispered in Goodell’s ear during the trophy ceremony: “Why don’t you quit and do something else, like start your own league in flag football?”

Harrison also criticizes other NFL execs, Patriots-turned-commentators Rodney Harrison and Tedy Bruschi (“clowns”), Houston’s Brian Cushing (“juiced out of his mind”) – and even teammates Rashard Mendenhall and Ben Roethlisberger for their performances in the Super Bowl loss. Harrison questions whether a black player is punished more for a hard hit on a white player than the opposite.

Beyond the insults, Harrison makes some serious points about what he believes are the league’s misguided attempts to increase safety. He explains how non-guaranteed contracts make players more likely to hit high, because in the short term, a torn knee ligament is more costly than a concussion.

And Harrison suggests the real way to prevent head injuries is to shorten the season to 14 games, start offseason workouts later and trim the length of training camp so “we’re not bangin’ heads so much in August; that’s where the brain trauma comes from.”

Casey Anthony juror No. 12 quit job and left town for fear of her life, says report

Juror No. 12 in the Casey Anthony trial has left her job and went into hiding fearing that her co-workers "want her head on a platter" after she and the 11 other jurors acquitted Anthony of first-degree murder in the death of her daughter Caylee, says a report.

Her husband said before leaving she told him "I'd rather go to jail than sit on a jury like this again," reports MSNBC.

Juror No. 12, a red-haired woman in her 60s, told the court she worked at a Publix Grocery when she was questioned as a potential juror.

Now, while the court record of all the jurors' names still remains sealed, she is terrified that she could face public scrutiny due to the controversial verdict.

Her husband had packed his own bag and says he's ready to leave if and when the court releases his wife's name, reports MSNBC.

Last week Anthony was acquitted on first-degree murder, aggravated child abuse and aggravated manslaughter charges in the death of her daughter, Caylee.

After the sentencing, protesters chanted Caylee's name outside the courthouse as well as "Justice for Caylee."

Judge Belvin Perry sentenced Anthony to a total of four years in jail on four counts of providing false information to law enforcement, as well as a fine of $4,000, plus court costs. However, due to credit for time served and good behavior, Anthony is scheduled to be released this Sunday, July 17.

Waka Flocka Flame use to go hard in the paint, despite negativity, but now he’s ready to quit the game.

After only three years of pursuing music, and releasing one album, he recently announced that he would be retiring from the rap game for good. ‘This game 2 Fake. I quite rap after this year,” he posted on twitter last week. Whether he would be quitting rap to go back to school is a mystery, however, he tells V-103 that he wouldn’t mind working at Wal-mart.

“I’m tired of going through what I go through, and punk a–es always rain on my world. There’s so [many] different haters, fake smiles, different hugs. I’d rather work at Walmart than rap, and that’s my word on God. Yup, I put that on Jesus Christ. I’m not lying or nothing. He talking about quitting. He’s sick of this. We all are. We’re all disgusted with this stuff. You can’t trust people.

I hope Waka has had a great financial planner. If not, I give him three days of working the express line check out before he’s back in the studio.

NFL, players moving toward deal, sources say

There is a growing belief inside league circles that the NFL and NFL Players Association will have an agreement in place that can be ratified during the July 21 league meetings in Atlanta, according to sources familiar with the state of negotiations.

As one NFL owner said this weekend, there's "no reason to believe it won't get done."

Other people familiar with the talks now think an agreement in principle will be put in place in the next seven to 10 days, a handshake deal that would allow each side to ratify the deal to start the 2011 season.

While a rookie wage system has been identified as the most complex issue still to be resolved between the owners and players as they return to the negotiating table this week in New York, the level of overall confidence in reaching an agreement also is evident in a document known as "The Transition Rules" that NFL teams would follow if and when both players and owners ratify a new labor agreement.

The Transition Rules spell out an actual timeline for roster transactions under the July 21 deal scenario, including the start of the new league year during which free agents would become eligible for the open market on July 28.

With the tight timeline, teams will be scrambling to fill rosters that must be set at 90 players on roughly Aug. 3 -- but all training camps would be able to open on time.

If the deal were to be ratified July 21, it would assure that almost all preseason games would be played, according to sources.

The one game in danger would be the Aug. 7 Hall of Fame matchup between the Bears vs. the Rams. There are still mixed opinions and thoughts as to whether that game could or would be played.

The Transition Rules also would include a designated period for teams to sign undrafted free agent rookies, a pool that routinely provides productive and even star players.

If and when the final issues are resolved, the two sides will have closed enough ground in other key areas to have an agreement in principle that the courts, players and owners must ratify. But those steps are expected to occur in the days leading up to, and during, the July 21 owners meetings in Atlanta.

Once it is done, The Transition Rules will kick in. During the lockout, the NFL's Chief Executive Committee, or CEC, have selected a group of team executives to compile a timeline for how the offseason would operate from the moment a labor deal was done. The group produced plans for the lockout ending in March, June, July and October.

The one now dated July 1 is likely to be applied to any deal done by July 21, and it would spell out how when rosters moves could and would be made. It doesn't mean the new league will unfold exactly like this; but it won't be far off, either.

Here is how the outlined plan for a July 1 deal could be adjusted for a potential July 21 deal with what would be the corresponding dates, according to sources familiar with the document, which many teams in the league have not yet seen:

• July 1 (July 21): Educate the clubs on the news league rules and allow voluntary training for teams and agents.

• July 5 (July 25): Sign undrafted rookies, as well as give free agents a chance to re-sign with their teams.

• July 8 (July 28) -- League year starts and free agency begins.

• July 13 (Aug. 2) -- Rosters must be set at 90 players.

• July 14 (Aug. 3) -- Deadline for restricted free agents to sign offer sheets.

• July 18 (Aug. 7 ) -- A four-day match period for teams to match restricted free-agent offer sheets.

• July 23 (Aug 12) -- Deadline for rookies to sign contracts (not yet agreed upon).

• July 27 (Aug. 16) -- Signing period for restricted free agents ends, as does the signing period for franchise and transition tenders.

• Aug. 9 (Aug. 29) -- Deadline for players to report to earned credit for an accrued season toward free agency.

Of the dates, the most significant is July 28, which would be the start of the league year and the multitude of roster moves that teams have been waiting and planning for months.

The most intriguing is the deadline for rookies to sign their contracts. The NFL and NFLPA have discussed the idea of placing a deadline on rookies to sign to reduce the number of holdouts. Teams have expressed concern that the longer a rookie holds out, the higher his frequency for injury and failure are.

The two sides still must figure out this issue, as well as how much rookies will be paid and how long their contracts will be. Just as the NFL has insisted that there cannot be federal oversight in the next labor deal, the NFLPA feels just as strongly that all rookie deals be four years, according to sources.

But as one person close to the talks said this weekend, "We're at the 10-, maybe the 15-yard line, and we're marching down the field, and both sides want to score and I think we will."

Yet the disagreement over a rookie wage system for those who were drafted in late April is now the darkest cloud hanging over negotiations that are nearly complete on most major issues.

"The rookie wage scale is the only part I'm worried about," one source involved in the talks said this weekend. "They've finished the other important parts. The only issue left that can cause a problem is the rookie wage scale."

Owner and management sources maintain that the rookie wage system the players have proposed does not represent the anticipated dramatic reduction in salaries -- most notably for the top eight players chosen in the draft -- which would result in redistributed money to veteran players and retirees.

Player sources countered by saying their proposed system provides considerable reduction to the 2010 rookie salaries and that the dispute is based on owners desire to not only cut salaries drastically but control players for five years, morphing into "a dramatic veteran wage scale, not a rookie scale."

Aside from the rookie wage scale, the owners and players also have been stuck on a proposal by management that for the 2011 transition period, teams can exercise the right of first refusal on three free agents, in addition to their franchise-tag designees.

The players have rejected the proposal, which means teams could match any contract offer and retain their free agent player.

The two sides appear comfortable with a split of an all-revenue model in which players will receive about 48 percent of the money at the outset, and never less than approximately 46.5 percent as revenues are expected to grow significantly from $9.6 billion in 2011 over the term of an agreement that will be no less than seven years and couid go as long as 10.

But just as there is a roadmap for how this summer will work, there also is a roadmap for completing a deal that has taken football as hostage since March 11.

Lil Wayne Drops "Tunechi‘s Back" Off Sorry For the Wait Mixtape

Lil Wayne will release his Sorry For the Wait mixtape this week, releasing the first leak off the tape, “Tunechi’s Back,” last weekend…

Lil Wayne recently announced the July 13 release of his mixtape, Sorry For the Wait. But before it hits the interweb, Weezy has leaked the first track off the LP, “Tunechi’s Back,” which samples the popular Meek Mill and Rick Ross track, “Tupac Back.”

“Out on bail, work on a scale / Put some change on your head, Boy, you on sale / Yeah I’ll see you in hell / Pop-pop get well / Make breakfast ’cause I got you walking on egg shells,” young Tuna Fish raps on the track. “Swear to god I’d never shoot unless I’m shooting to kill / Instead of writing raps you should be writing your will.”

The mixtape comes just weeks before the oft-delayed The Carter IV album, which is now scheduled for an August 29 date.

Atlantis Blasts Off on Final Mission

Space shuttle Atlantis rocketed into space from Kennedy Space Center Friday morning despite threatening weather -- marking the final launch after 30 years for NASA's storied fleet of shuttles.

Forecasters stuck to their original 70 percent chance of bad weather prior to the launch, as the veteran crew sat ready for lift off. NASA was hopeful, with an "observed go" setting for launch. Skies over Kennedy were partly cloudy and the wind is blowing, but blue skies are visible as well, according to local observations.

"We do have a shot at this today," launch director Mike Leinbach assured his team.

Commander Christopher Ferguson gave a thumbs up as he was strapped in after sunrise despite the still-iffy launch prospects. On his way to the spacecraft, Ferguson had jokingly beckoned for more applause, clapping his hands at one point. The astronauts posed for pictures before boarding.
Atlantis holds a year's worth of supplies -- more than 8,000 pounds -- for the International Space Station.

An estimated 750,000 people are expected to jam Cape Canaveral and surrounding towns for this final shuttle launch, reminiscent of the crowds that gathered for the Apollo moon shots.

Among the expected VIPs: 14 members of Congress, Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Adm. Mike Mullen, four members of the Kennedy family, two former NASA administrators, singers Jimmy Buffett and Gloria Estefan, and the first shuttle pilot of them all, Robert Crippen.

By 6 a.m., cars and RV were packed into almost every available space along U.S. 1 in Titusville, with cameras already trained on the launch pad in the hazy clouds across the Indian River. Many had planted chairs and staked out viewing locations just feet from the water. Some were still cocooned in sleeping bags as the sun rose.

Kenneth Cox, 25, an airport employee from Danville, Ind., joined three friends at the riverside. Hauling Lucky Charms, fixings for s'mores and a bottle of champagne to celebrate the launch, they slept off and on as the sun rose.

"It's the closing chapter of 30 years," said Cox, who went to Space Camp when he was in the fifth grade and has been enamored with the shuttle program as long as he could remember.

"I definitely think it's a somber attitude out here, because it's the last one," said Cox's friend, Simon Lin, 26, who works at Walt Disney World in Orlando. "It's brought so much to the tourist industry in Florida, and that's what we are. Closing it down, it's going to be sad."

Cherie Cabrera, 23, a Disney World employee, tried to explain the attraction.

"It's just powerful," she said. "There are so few people who have the ability to go to space, and for all of us to be here on the river, watching it launch and feeling it rise and feeling the wind, you feel like you're a part of it. You feel connected."

John and Jennifer Cardwell came from Fairhope, Ala., for their third attempt to see the shuttle launch. Twice before they made the trip only to have a flight canceled and they weren't able to stay. They brought their sons, Isaac, 6, and 3-year-old Eli.

"This is our last-ditch chance to see one," said 38-year-old Jennifer Cardwell, cradling a sleepy Eli in her arms just after dawn. "This is the end of an era, and I wanted to be able to experience it. My son is interested in space and science, and I wanted to encourage that.

"It's that last frontier, that last place left for us to explore," she said. "We've gone all over the world, and this is what's left."

NASA must launch Atlantis by Sunday or Monday or it will have to wait until at least July 16 because of an unmanned rocket launch scheduled for next week.

The 12-day mission will close out the space shuttle program, which began with the launch of Columbia in 1981. Atlantis will join Discovery and Endeavour in retirement, so NASA can focus on sending astronauts to asteroids and Mars. Private companies will take over the business of getting space station cargo and crews to orbit.

Once Atlantis soars, it will be another three years -- possibly five or more -- before astronauts blast off again from U.S. soil.

This will be the 33rd flight for Atlantis and the 135th shuttle mission overall.

"Everybody should be really proud how we've ended and just finishing strong," Mendoza said.
